Instead of general classes, pregnant yoga students need specialized ones. So that's what I started looking for.
Unfortunately, the programs I found were...a little underwhelming. Yes, the classes were safe. But they were also repetitive, boring, and not very educational. Most importantly, I was unable to find a course that offered more than just regular yoga with alternatives to poses I wasn't supposed to do anymore.
I was looking for a course to:
- guide me through my transformation from start to finish
- help me reduce the most common aches and pains of pregnancy

- provide practices that would support me emotionally
- teach me how I could support my baby's development from day 1
- prepare me for an optimal birth
